In assessing Currumbin as an area for lifestyle suitability, I draw on my personal experience where back in 1999 I planned my great escape from NSW. My decision to move up here was of the heart, yet having a 23 year client base back in Sydney I found it very hard to let go. Even though I purchased here in 1999, it took me until 2006 to finally let go and move on. Well, 4 years later and having established a solid local business I look back and I could kick myself for not just coming up in 1999. Instead of a 4 year old business, I could have had an 11 year old business and a much bigger client base. So, I guess the moral to my story is I should have followed my heart. Never the less, I’m here now and loving the relaxed Queensland lifestyle.

Benefits of Currumbin

With an easy 10 minute drive to Coolangatta airport and a 20 minute drive to Surfers Paradise, Currumbin is well situated for a quality lifestyle.  Yet having the advantage of being slightly away from the fast pace of Gold Coast Living.  Currumbin from a family point of view is located in great proximity to a choice of school’s.  Our coastal lifestyle combined with our Hinterland Rainforest gives us wonderful unique cross section for us to enjoy all within a short drive.  Whether it’s breakfast at Murwillumbah via scenic Tomewin Road or a drive to Mt Tamborine to enjoy the weekend markets or a drive to the theme parks – all this is available with easy access.

For those who live on Currumbin Creek there is ocean access and great fishing and crabbing from your backyard.  Even the Dolphins travel up the creek and past your backyard.

When selecting a place to re-locate your family, I honestly believe that once you discover the Currumbin area you will feel as connected with this area as much as I did when I first bought here in 1999.
